Our Vision:

  • To assure a vibrant, healthy community where every Sanibel and Captiva resident enjoys a beautiful and productive quality of life.

Our Mission:

  • Inspiring Philanthropy, Leadership and Collaboration for the vitality of the Island community.

Why We Exist:

  • We look for opportunities to strengthen the quality of life for those who live or work on Sanibel and Captiva, and make our communities better places to live.

  • We make grants to organizations that impact our communities’ health, education, and well-being.

  • We encourage the generosity of local donors.

  • We serve as community leaders, advocates, and facilitators for local issues and needs.

Why Give Through Us:

  • Our board is made up of people who are very involved in many of the islands’ non-profit organizations. The board understands what the needs are in the community and which organizations require support.

  • We help non-profits build stronger organizations through capacity building; helping organizations with technology, strategic planning, marketing, social media, staff development, and more.

Focus Areas:

  • Basic human needs – food, housing, healthcare, mental health

  • Arts and education

  • The environment

  • Emergency funds

The financial support provided through the grant we received from Charitable Foundation of the Islands will make a tremendous difference in the lives of our families.
